Assuming the role of Board President is Loni Aurbeck, Pasco Outreach Diversion and Prevention Supervisor for Metropolitan Ministries.

“I’m excited” said Aurbeck. “I love being a part of a team of diverse and talented individuals. We are all dedicated to providing hope, support, and resources for help to those struggling with mental illness in our community. I feel privileged to be a part of NAMI Pasco and proud to bring awareness about mental health struggles and share the message to our neighbors, co-workers, and family members during a time we need to come together as a community. For so long mental health was not discussed.”

Joining the board as Vice President is Marie Macher. Marie has been an active NAMI Pasco volunteer and peer leader for the past seven years. Her message to the community is “Keep fighting and advocating for yourself. Change may not happen overnight, but things do get better.”

Completing the Executive Board are Meghan Shattuck as Secretary and Dr. Eddie Williams as Treasurer.

Additional board members include past president, Stephanie Centella, Shawna Levondosky, Sylvia Escala-DeRosa, Lucy Miller, Christine Pringle, Ken Delaney, and Elaine Sabra.

“This is a really exciting time for NAMI Pasco” Proulx said “in the last year we have more than quadrupled our reach. This new board will help us go even further. What’s particularly noteworthy is that our Executive Director and a quarter of our board are people living with mental health conditions truly mirroring our community makeup”.
