New Port Richey, FL – January 14th 2021 – The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) affiliate in Pasco County (NAMI Pasco) releases its 2020 Impact Report.

“Mental health conditions don't stop for Covid. In March we took a step back to consider the needs of our participants, their loved ones, and the medical staff that treats them. We pivoted our groups and programs to online versions thinking that was a temporary move. Ten months later with no end in sight, we have not only pivoted our offerings, but have adjusted our thinking, adapted, and begun offering our services in new ways.” Said Debbie L. Proulx, Executive Director

NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. The nonprofit provides free mental health support, advocacy, outreach, and education to those with mental health conditions and their loved ones.

“We wanted to release this report to the public to give our community supporters and donors an idea of the impact that they are making. Most importantly though we want these numbers to show our participants and community members who may be struggling that they are not alone. There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.” Said Proulx
