New Port Richey's 4th Of July Kiafest: 2019 Guide

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- New Port Richey Main Street will celebrate America's independence June 28-29 with the 19th annual Kiafest Main Street Blast at Sims Park on Main and Bank Street.
Honored for "Best Main Street Event" by Florida’s Secretary of State and named one of the “Top 20 Events in the Southeast” by Southeast Tourism magazine, the event features two days of free concerts on the main stage at Sims Park, a food court, a beer garden, craft booths, business vendors, a classic cruise-in military vehicle displays, a kid's zone, bounce houses, Miss Daisy boat tours, a trolley pull and a giant fireworks display on Saturday night.
Last year, more than 25,000 people attended the fireworks display.

Kiafest runs from 5 to 11 p.m. on Friday and from noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday.
Live music will begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday with Barefoot Bob & The Hope followed by Purple Madness, a tribute to Prince.

The fifth annual Friendly Kia Trolley Pull will take place Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. with a $500 prize for the winning team.
The Sunset Corvette Classic Car & Truck Cruise-In will run on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m.
And live music will begin at 1 p.m. on the Main Stage with a Woodstock tribute and continue through 10:30 p.m.
The fireworks display will begin at sundown on Saturday.
American Family Celebration
Great Life Church, 14494 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill, will host a free American Family Celebration on Thursday, July 4 from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
This event will include food, games and entertainment, culminating with a giant fireworks show at sundown.
