Pasco County Government Announces Christmas Closings
Pasco County Government offices will close at noon Tuesday, Dec. 24, and will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25, for Christmas.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Pasco County Government offices, including the Supervisor of Elections Office, will close at noon Tuesday, Dec. 24, and will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25, in observance of Christmas. All government offices and the Courts will reopen Thursday, Dec. 26.
The Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources’ offices, recreation complexes and community centers will close at noon Tuesday, Dec. 24 and will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25. However, the parks and beaches will stay open to the public from dawn to dusk.
Pasco County Public Transportation will be open Tuesday, Dec. 24; however, buses will run through the Saturday schedule end times, which vary by route. (Please refer to individual route schedules.) PCPT administrative offices will close at noon Tuesday, Dec. 24 to walk-in customers; however, phone lines will be open. PCPT will be closed and bus services will not run Wednesday, Dec. 25.

The Pasco County Animal Services Administration Office and Field Services will close at noon Tuesday, Dec. 24, and will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25. The shelter, adoption center and intake/reclaim will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday. An animal control officer will be available for emergencies only.
The Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility, West Pasco Class III and the East Pasco Transfer Station will be closed to the public Tuesday, Dec. 24. However, they will be open to Pasco County licensed commercial haulers. They will be closed to the public and Pasco County licensed haulers Wednesday, Dec. 25.

All Pasco County libraries will close at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24, and will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25.
The Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office and Property Appraiser’s Office will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 24, and Wednesday, Dec. 25.
The Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller’s Office will be open Tuesday, Dec. 24, and will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25.
Per Gov. Ron DeSantis' announcement, the Florida Department of Health in Pasco County and other state agencies will be closed on two additional days during the holiday season. They will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 24-25 and Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
