What's Open, Closed In Pasco County On 4th Of July 2020

Pasco County Government offices, including the constitutional offices and the courts, will be closed Friday, July 3, for the Fourth of July.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco County Government offices, including the constitutional offices and the courts, will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. All government offices and the courts that are maintaining limited services as a result of the coronavirus pandemic will reopen Monday, July 6.

The Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources’ Offices, Recreation Complexes and Community Centers will be closed Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4; however, the parks and beaches will stay open to the public from dawn to dusk.

Pasco County Public Transportation will be open Friday, July 3, providing limited bus service. See a list of available routes here. PCPT administrative offices will be closed to walk-in customers Friday, July 3; however, phone lines will be open. PCPT will be closed and bus services will not run Saturday, July 4. PCPT will resume all regular routes Monday, July 6.

All Pasco County libraries will be open Friday, July 3; however, they will be closed Saturday, July 4.

The Pasco County Animal Services administration office, adoption center, intake/reclaim shelter and field services will be closed Friday, July 3. An animal control officer will be available for emergencies only. The adoption center and intake/reclaim will be open Saturday, July 4, with reduced hours from noon to 5 p.m.

The Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility, West Pasco Class III and the East Pasco Transfer Station will be open to the public Friday, July 3. Both facilities will be closed to the public Saturday, July 4; however, they will be open to Pasco County-licensed commercial haulers.

The Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office will be closed Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4.
