PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco County is experiencing a building boom with more than 700 new single-family residential permit applications under review. In an effort to continue providing quality customer service during this time of growth, Pasco Building Construction Services is waiving the $600 administrative fee charged when building plan reviews or inspections for new single-family residential permits are performed by private providers instead of county staff.

The waiver will be in effect through July 9.

“We are encouraging single-family home builders to use private providers during this time of high-volume building permit activity in Pasco County,” said Pasco County building official Esther Oluyemi. “Over the past several months, our team has been reviewing as many as 100 more applications per month than usual, and private providers can help us maintain the level of service our customers expect.”
