HUDSON, FL — U.S. 19 has claimed the life of another pedestrian in Pasco County.

The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a woman was killed Saturday at 5:45 a.m. while attempting to cross U.S. 19 near Regency Park Boulevard.

The unidentified woman was walking west across the highway when she was struck by southbound car driven by a 33-year-old Hudson man.

She was taken to the hospital where she died shortly after.
