PASCO COUNTY, FL — The Strauber Memorial Drive Stormwater Drainage Project is scheduled to begin Jan. 22 with round-the-clock road closures while crews install new stormwater pipe below the roadway in the flood-prone area to increase drainage flow.

Strauber Memorial Drive closure and project details:

  • Expect complete lane closure with message boards directing traffic
  • Northbound traffic from Baillie’s Bluff Road will be detoured through Gulf Trace Boulevard
  • Southbound traffic from Trouble Creek Road will be detoured through Moog Road
  • Targeted completion date is the first week of February, depending upon weather conditions.

MTM Contractors Inc. and Mike Carter Construction Inc. are the contractors for this Pasco County Department of Public Works project.
