The Florida United States Tennis Association will offer its annual Tennis Play Days at courts across Pinellas County, including New Port Richey.
The association, a non-profit that offers tennis programs for all ages, host the tennis day programs each year for youth during the summer. This year, the association will offer 12 Play Days through August.
The Play Days provide kids of all skill levels with the opportunity to experience tennis in a social and fun setting. The events are open to the public with an emphasis placed on family participation, effort and sportsmanship, according to a USTA press release. Information will also be available on 10 and Under Tennis, Jr. Team Tennis leagues, other local play opportunities, and special free USTAmemberships for qualifying participants.
In New Port Richey, youth can participate in the Play Day on June 29 at New Port Richey Recreation Center, 6630 Van Buren St.  New Port Richey. The cost is $5 for USTA members, and $10 for non-USTA members.
