What's Open, What's Closed In Pasco County On Thanksgiving

Pasco County government offices, including the constitutional offices and the courts, will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco County government offices, including the constitutional offices and the courts, will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27, in observance of Thanksgiving.

All government offices and the courts will reopen Monday, Nov. 30.

The Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources’ offices, recreation complexes
and community centers will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27; however, the parks and beaches will stay open to the public from dawn to dusk.

Pasco County Public Transportation will be closed, and bus services will not run on Thursday. PCPT will be open Friday, will provide service on all fixed routes and paratransit.

PCPT administrative offices will be closed to walk-in customers Friday, however, phone lines will be open.

All Pasco County libraries will be closed beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. All libraries will resume regular business hours Saturday.

The Pasco County Animal Services Administration Office, adoption center, intake/reclaim
shelter and field services will be closed Thursday and Friday. An animal control officer will be available for emergencies only.

The Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility, West Pasco Class III and the East Pasco
Transfer Station will be closed to the public and Pasco County licensed commercial haulers
Thursday. They will also be closed to the public Friday, however, they will be open to Pasco County licensed commercial haulers. Regular business hours will resume Saturday.

The Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office will be closed Thursday through Saturday.
