Win a Free Florida Hunting, Fishing License for Life
The Wildlife Foundation of Florida is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a big giveaway.

Florida hunting and fishing enthusiasts age 18 and up have a chance to win a big prize in honor of the Wildlife Foundation of Florida’s 20th anniversary.
The nonprofit organization is giving away a free hunting and fishing license for life to one lucky winner in a Sept. 29 drawing. That prize is worth $1,084. The winner, of course, will be required to pay appropriate taxes.
Contest entry is free on the foundation’s Facebook page.

The giveaway is part of the organization’s “I Do” Florida Fishing License Campaign. That effort is meant to encourage residents to get proper licenses before they cast lines.
The foundation was formed in 1994 as a nonprofit citizen support arm for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. It focuses on building partnerships with communities, funding programs to preserve and restore Florida’s natural lands and devising opportunities to encourage Floridians to “use, enjoy and learn about the state’s fish and wildlife resources,” its website says.
