Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie grocery stores will soon offer an additional 8,100 vaccines in 69 store locations.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — After administering 8,100 free Moderna vaccines beginning on Feb. 11, Southeastern Grocers Inc., parent company and home of Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie grocery stores, will soon offer an additional 8,100 vaccines in 69 store locations.
In an effort to reach even more underserved communities, the grocer will expand vaccine allocations to nine additional counties and 26 new store locations, in addition to the 43 stores that have previously administered the vaccines throughout the state of Florida.
In partnership with the Florida Department of Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the grocery store chain will
administer the free Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to eligible recipients in 64 Winn-Dixies, three Harveys Supermarkets and two Fresco y Más locations through the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program, when available.

The vaccines are free with or without health insurance. Those with health insurance must provide their health insurance card during their scheduled appointment, and those without insurance will need to present a valid driver’s license or Social Security card.
As future vaccine allocation continues to be prioritized by the state, HHS and the CDC, Southeastern Grocers has plans in place to continue to administer additional free vaccines directly to the front line at all in-store pharmacies.
In the coming months, the grocer will also provide additional COVID-19 vaccines at pharmacy locations and will coordinate future drive-thru clinics to administer free COVID-19 vaccines in additional underserved communities the vaccine becomes more available.
Southeastern Grocery will administer vaccines by appointment only during regular pharmacy hours while supplies last. Preregistration is not available. Customers will receive regular updates as details are finalized.
