4th Annual Chili Cookoff Set for Today

The 4th Annual Brookhaven Chili Cook Off is set for this Saturday, Oct. 10, from noon to 6 pm at Brookhaven Park, 4158 Peachtree Road.

Chili & Brunswick stew tasting: noon-4 p.m. or while supplies last with 75+ chili and stew competition teams

Amateur and restaurant divisions chili and Brunswick stew teams with celebrity chef judges. A total of $2,500 in prizes and awards are available for top amateur teams, restaurant teams, most spirited team and peoples’ choice.

Live music offerings include Battlefield Collective, Drucker & Behind the Sun.

A portion of proceeds benefit Releash Atlanta. The event is sponsored by the city of Brookhaven, Jim Ellis and Bud Light.

Tickets are $7.50-$10 advance, and $15 door for a spoon event wristband for unlimited chili tastings starting at noon (while supplies last.)
