Brookfield City Council Virtual Meeting Set For March 30

The video conference begins at 7 p.m.

The Brookhaven City Council will conduct its next regularly scheduled business meeting Tuesday, March 30, at 7 p.m. In consideration of social distancing recommendations by the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and State Board of Health, the meeting will be held via video conference.

In order to ensure transparency and accountability, the meeting will be broadcast on Facebook Live on the City’s Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/BrookhavenGAgov. The public will be able to weigh in during Public Hearings and Public Comment by any of the following options:

The March 30 business meeting contains the following for City Council consideration:

  • A proclamation recognizing China Grove Missionary First Baptist Church.
  • A public comment availability.
  • A consent agenda which includes:
    • The minutes of the March 16 virtual Work Session and Regular Meetings.
    • The application to the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) Pedestrian Grant for 2022.
  • A resolution affirming the Langford Park Master Plan.
  • A resolution to assign Unassigned Fund Balance in the General Fund for the 2020 fiscal year.
