Brookhaven Bucks Set to Open Season Next Month

BROOKHAVEN, GA -- The Brookhaven Bucks are set to open their season on Saturday, June 4, against the Marietta Patriots.
The team is a member of the Sunbelt League, a wooden-bat collegiate summer baseball squad.
Owned by Brad Dickison, the team plays its home games at Oglethorpe University. Dickison is also the team's general manager. Dickison has owned the team since 2011.

Kyle Mitchell is assistant GM, and manages the day-to-day operations for the team. Mitchell is a student-athlete at Oglethorpe University. Mandy Bennett is head of game day operations, and runs the ticket sales and concession booth.
Jeff “JJ” Johnson is the voice of the Bucks for games at Oglethorpe University. Johnson has worked for Turner Broadcasting, the Atlanta Braves and also has won an Emmy.
