Brookhaven Net Assessed Property Value: $2 Billion

At approximately $2 billion, Brookhaven's net assessed value of property is pretty strong, but expect that figure to change some.

A Reporter Newspapers article, citing the DeKalb tax digest, reported the number.

Bonnie Kline, Brookhaven finance director, told the news outlet that will probably go down as people appeal their property appraisals. 

According to the article, the tax digest must be set before a millage rate is approved. Brookhaven's proposed millage rate is 3.35.
