Brookhaven Set To Demolish Building For New Park
Brookhaven intends to tear down the old vital records building to make way for Skyland Park.

BROOKHAVEN, GA -- Brookhaven plans to tear down the old State Vital Records Office and transform the tract it sits on into a new park, the city said Tuesday. The demolition is set to take place Monday, July 24 at 10 a.m.
Construction of the new $3 million state-of-the-art public park will be done by Duluth-based Multiplex, who was awarded the contract in May. (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app.)
