City of Brookhaven Launches New Web Site
The site includes various interactive tools.

The city of Brookhaven has launched a new web site, providing more information and easier access for residents via www.brookhavenga.gov.
The site can be navigated with an “I want to” menu that allows visitors to find information on how to file a police report, reserve a park facility or get a building permit.

“We are excited to unveil the first phase of our new web site to allow residents, businesses and visitors easy access to information about our city,” City Manager Marie. L. Garrett said in a press release.
The site also includes detailed information on the mayor, city council and each city department, as well as information on hotels and tourism for visitors.

The site now houses all forms, ranging from building permit applications to business license forms, in one location. It also has interactive tools, including the GIS WebApp allows users to view city boundaries and districts, look up zoning and parcel numbers, and search properties by owner and house number.
Additional updates and interactive tools will be added next year.
The site was designed by Vision Internet, which also designed sites for the cities of Atlanta, Decatur, Smyrna and others.
