Cross Keys Foundation to Support Engineering at Brookhaven High School

The organization also said it will help recruit top talent to the faculty of Brookhaven's only high school.

The Cross Keys Foundation has announced it will renew its support of manufacturing and engineering instruction at Cross Keys High School for the upcoming academic year.

In a statement, the organization also said it will help recruit top talent to the faculty of the 55-year-old Brookhaven high school.

The foundation is helping the school seek qualified candidates for the position of Teacher, Engineering & Technology.

According to Kim Gokce, foundation president, “The best candidates will have a commitment to teaching, most definitely, but also industry experience in an engineering profession and a passion for working with young people.

"There hasn't been a more critical time to invest in public education or a more criticalinstructional area to support,” Gokce continued. “U.S. employers' demand for skilled workersin areas of technology and manufacturing is out-stripping the supply of qualified personnel.”
