DEKALB COUNTY, GA – There are 47 additional cases of the new coronavirus in DeKalb county as of Saturday morning, bringing the county total of confirmed cases to 1396.
There was one additional coronavirus-related death in DeKalb County since Friday afternoon's data release, bringing the total virus-related deaths to 24, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
In DeKalb County, these numbers mean there are nearly 182 positive cases of the coronavirus for every 100,000 people.

- 30-39: 1 death
- 40-49: 1 death
- 50-59: 1 death
- 60-69: 6 deaths

SCHOOLS
Governor Brian Kemp has announced that all K-12 schools in Georgia will remain closed for in-person instruction for the remainder of this school year.
The Decatur High School community is evaluating options on how and when to hold their graduation ceremony in light of social distancing protocols.
Starting April 20, Decatur schools will change meal distributions to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with extra meals being sent home Mondays and Wednesdays to cover the days they are not serving. Meal service is planned until the end of the school year, which is May 22.
