Dog Stolen From Owner's Car While Pumping Gas In Brookhaven
Police confirmed a dog was stolen from a woman's car while she was pumping gas at a QuikTrip in Brookhaven.

BROOKHAVEN, GA — The family of Nu Nu, an all-white Bishon Frisee and Poodle mix, is searching for her after she was stolen from her owner's car at a gas station in Brookhaven on Dec. 29.
Police said Nu Nu's owner was pumping gas at the QuikTrip on North Druid Hills Road in Brookhaven, when thieves took the victim's purse — with Nu Nu inside — from her vehicle while her back was turned. The suspects fled in a small, black SUV that police believe was also stolen.
Police refer to this type of incident as "slider" theft, where a suspect walks or drives up to an unlocked vehicle while the driver is pumping gas and steals either the vehicle or items from inside.
