Eight 30319 Runners at Boston Marathon as Explosion Rocks Race
Boston Police said the blast occurred just before 3 p.m. Police say at least two are dead and 22 injured.

Boston Police are reporting at least two people died and another 22 were injured after two explosions occurred Monday afternoon near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.Â
Video of the incident shows the explosion knocking runners and bystanders to the ground following the blast.Â

Eight residents of Brookhaven's 30319 zip code are registered entrants in the race:

- Elizabeth Brown
- Holly King
- Bishop Leatherbury
- Regan Muldoon
- Enrique Sanchez
- George Shaak
- Jaxen Solseng
The Boston Marathon released a statement around 4 p.m. that said, "There were two bombs that exploded near the finish line in today's Boston Marathon. We are working with law enforcement to understand what exactly has happened."

The Associated Press is reporting at least two other explosive devices were found.Â
