First 'Dive-In' Movie Set For June 12 In Brookhaven
You can kick back and relax in one of Brookhaven's city pools, for free, while enjoying a showing of "Coco" next weekend.
BROOKHAVEN, GA — Pop on your swimsuit, grab a floatie and get ready for a new kind of movie experience in Brookhaven: a "dive-in" movie.
The city's first "Dive-In" Movie of the season kicks off at Murphey Candler Park pool Saturday, June 12 at 8:45 p.m., the city announced Thursday. Visitors can hang out in the pool while enjoying a screening of the Disney/Pixar film "Coco."
"We invite everyone to come out and cool off in the pool while enjoying 'Coco' under the stars," Brookhaven Parks and Recreation Director Brian Borden said in a news release.

Admission is free and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to bring snacks and food if they desire.
Murphey Candler Park is located at 1551 W. Nancy Creek Drive, and the pool is on Candler Lake West Northeast.
