Food Truck Roundup Returns To Blackburn Park

Starting June 16, Brookhaven's Food Truck Roundup is making a comeback after taking a year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

BROOKHAVEN, GA — After a yearlong break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, food trucks will once again line up at Blackburn Park later this month for the city of Brookhaven's Food Truck Roundup.

Food trucks will be at the park every Wednesday starting June 16 through Oct. 27, the city announced Thursday. They'll be at the north end of the park near the Blackburn Pavilion every week, bordering the playground, from 6-9 p.m.

"We welcome the return of one of our most popular events," Parks and Recreation Director Brian Borden said in a news release. "This Wednesday night tradition is a great way to enjoy what Blackburn Park has to offer."

Eight food trucks, live music and a bounce house will be featured each week, with beer and wine from Moondog Growlers available for purchase weekly as well. Moondog Growlers accepts cash, Venmo and PayPal, but does not accept credit cards.

Seating is available at the pavilion, but attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and lawn chairs. Pets are also welcome every week.
