A lot of progress was made during this past Saturday's Briarwood Park workday, particularly on the Forest Patio and the Azalea Trail projects.
Chad Boles, president of the Friends of Briarwood Park, reported that "We continued clearing the trails, spreading wood chips and cleaning the picnic area.
"We will honor Mayfield Signature Homes (Tim Nama), Oasis Landscape and Irrigation (Kevin Paulen) and Ferguson Enterprises (Jeremy Barnes) after the completion of the Forest Patio. They have played an integral part in the success of Phase II.

"Steve Walker is installing the grills this upcoming Saturday."
Boles said the organization is currently planning a fundraiser with Haven REI (Rick Glisson, Allison Resnick) to supplement the cost of the playground bathroom planned for later this summer or fall.

The group's next scheduled work day is Saturday, June 29 to help Oasis Landscape and Irrigation with the installation of a sprinkler system.
