Nancy Creek Heights residents are fighting back against local crime.
The neighborhood has put up security cameras, erected signs warning would-be criminals and one resident even has a police-trained dog on alert, according to wsbtv.com.

Resident Michael Snow said his house was burglarized in the middle of the day with his alarm sounding and his German shepherd, Commando, barking in the garage. In four to five minutes, he says the crooks got away with a guitar, a TV and a computer.
Neighbor Rob Wade has a similar story. He said he felt his house was cased. He says he noticed a paint splotch on an outside fence the day after the break-in. He'd never seen the mark before the burglary. He called the crime "brazen," and told Artz it happened in the middle of a workday.
