Reward Increased To $10K For Man Sought In CT Homicide
Qinxuan Pan, 29, was last seen in metro Atlanta. He is being sought by the U.S. Marshals Service as a person of interest in a Yale homicide.

BROOKHAVEN, GA — The U.S. Marshals raised the reward to $10,000 for information about a man last seen in Brookhaven or Duluth, who is being sought as a "person of interest" in relation to a Connecticut homicide case, authorities said.
Qinxuan Pan, 29, is being sought by authorities for questioning in the case surrounding the Feb. 6 killing of Yale University graduate student Kevin Jiang. Jiang, 26, was found shot to death in New Haven, Connecticut around 8:30 p.m. Feb. 6.
Pan also has warrants out for his arrest for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution and interstate theft of a vehicle, according to the New Haven Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service. New Haven Police Department Chief Otoniel Reyes said last week that Pan was not a suspect, but a person of interest.

Pan was last seen in the morning of Feb. 11, and authorities believe he is staying with friends or relatives in the Brookhaven or Duluth areas. It is not clear if he is still in metro Atlanta, but the search is still concentrated in Atlanta.
Anyone with information on Pan's location or the case itself is asked to contact the U.S. Marshals at 1-877-Wanted-2 (1-877-926-8332). Any information will be considered confidential. Pan should be considered armed and dangerous. People should not attempt to apprehend him themselves.
