BROOKHAVEN, GA — The city of Brookhaven is planning a road closure on West Nancy Creek Drive to replace collapsed and corroded stormwater pipes this week, and again later this month.
A section of the road — from 1143 to 1177 W. Nancy Creek Drive — was closed from June 2-4 and will again be closed June 7-11 while equipment is delivered for the pipe replacement, according to a news release from the city.
Once the initial preparation is finished, the road and its sidewalks will be fully closed between June 14 and July 30. West Nancy Creek Drive will be inaccessible for through traffic for the duration of construction.
