Shallowford Road Water Service Interruption Planned Tuesday

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — Shallowford Road residents and business owners: prepare for a potential interruption to your water service Tuesday.

DeKalb County and its contractors will temporarily interrupt water service between 2308-2960 Shallowford Road from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday to replace a leaking water line. Residents and business owners may experience low water pressure or complete service interruption for several hours, according to county officials.

The work is part of the annual water and sewer construction administered by the DeKalb County Office of Engineering & Construction Management Services. Crews were given "strict instructions" to restore water service by the end of the day Tuesday unless emergency circumstances arise.
