Six Brookhaven Bucks Named 2016 Sunbelt League All Stars

Brookhaven, GA -- Six Brookhaven Bucks have been named to the 2016 Sunbelt League All-Star team.

The team will participate in the fourth annual Southeast Collegiate Prospect Showcase on July 16-17 at Georgia Gwinnett College when the Sunbelt League will face off in the two day event against the Florida Collegiate Summer League and the Southern Collegiate Baseball League.

The Bucks selected are:

• David Mayo (RHP), University of Mount Olive
• Rodney Tennie (OF), Undecided (recent Southern Union State C.C. graduate)
• Coleman Poje (OF/1B), Georgia Tech
• Connor Stutts (OF), University of Notre Dame
• Rey Pascual (C), Harvard University
• Matt Phillips (RHP), Georgia Tech

Bucks’ Head Coach Corey Patterson will serve as an assistant coach and Charlie Kapp has been named bat boy.

Pascual is a resident of Brookhaven and a Marist graduate.
