Southern Crust Food Truck Rolls into Atlanta in November

Popular Charleston, S.C. pizza catering operation, Coastal Crust, best known for delivering unforgettable experiences via a custom-outfitted, vintage Chevy Truck, is heading to Atlanta this November 2016 as Southern Crust Catering Co. After a successful expansion to Greenville, S.C. this summer, Atlantans will soon be able to sink their teeth into Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizza at private and corporate events, rehearsal dinners, weddings and more.

In addition to featuring a Mugnaini open-hearth pizza oven, the Atlanta truck - a classic 1953 Chevy, is fully customized with Moore & Giles leather and reclaimed wood siding. It’s also has a custom tap system for pouring local brews, a sound system, and refrigeration for storing fresh salads. Embracing the art of al fresco catering with ease, Southern Crust also brings custom, reclaimed wood tables to its events and is set up and ready to serve within an hour of arriving.

To accompany an array of classic and specialty pizzas options, Southern Crust offers fresh, seasonal salads, wood-fired focaccia bread, as well as a wide variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Starters like marinated olives, burrata, and pancetta-wrapped figs, and braised pork meatballs compliment a range of fresh seasonal salads including chopped kale salad, shrimp and avocado salad, Caesar, and more. Pizza ranges from classics like margherita and pepperoni to specialties like pistachio pesto; Calabrese; blanco; and butternut with roasted butternut squash, caramelized onions, mozzarella, arugula and truffle oil. House-made desserts, from s’mores and Georgia chess pie to peach and blackberry cobbler and gelato, provide the perfect ending to every meal. Southern Crust menus are designed to take advantage of the best produce available, treating guests to delicious and relaxed fare in almost any setting. Custom and gluten free options are also available.
