The Georgia Small Business Development Center, a Public Service and Outreach unit of the University of Georgia is hosting the Starting A Business Workshop:
Since lack of planning is one of the top reasons new businesses fail, attending this workshop led by an experienced business professional will be one of the most important decisions you make prior to opening your business. The course topics include traits of successful entrepreneurs, market research, legal structures for your business, estimating start-up costs & cash flow projections, financing alternatives, failure factors and business planning.
