Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea Opens In Brookhaven

BROOKHAVEN, GA -- Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea recently celebrated the grand opening of its first Georgia coffeehouse in Town Brookhaven. The 1,800-square-foot café offers personal and group seating, local artwork, and a globally-inspired menu of premium coffees, teas, pastries, sandwiches, salads, and more.

“The fact that Sweetwaters is very community-oriented and focused on using only real ingredients drew me to them,” said Seema Rao, owner of Sweetwaters’ Atlanta location. “We are extremely focused on the community and want to provide jobs in a positive work environment.”

Sweetwaters sells a variety of classic, signature, and premium coffees, teas, and other drinks. Pastries, desserts, and light fares are also available for purchase.

“Sweetwaters began with a passion for family and community. Our founders wanted a place where they could bring their children and where everyone could meet and enjoy a good drink with friends. We’re thrilled to bring this same inviting atmosphere and delicious menu to Atlanta,” said Seema Rao.

The Atlanta opening marks the Michigan-based company’s twelfth cafe.

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea is a national franchise that originated in Ann Arbor, Mich., in 1993 by husband-and-wife duo Wei and Lisa Bee. Inspired by the Bees’ love of food and drink, and driven by their creativity, Sweetwaters was created as a coffeehouse that celebrates classic café fare alongside globally influenced beverages in a classic and friendly environment. The rapidly-expanding franchise has more than 100 planned locations across the country, and it anticipates continuous growth based on consumers’ desires for real ingredients and diverse, cultural offerings.
