Five things to know about the week ahead in Brookhaven and Chamblee.
- GREAT Jubilee Family Festival: Saturday. The GREAT Jubilee Family Festival is an inexpensive & fun way to entertain your whole family and a have a fun afternoon in the beautiful grounds of Oglethorpe University.Â
- Chamblee Fourth Friday Concert Series: This three concert series will offer a relaxing event for the whole family. Bring out your blankets and lawn chairs, or reserve one of our VIP Tables to enjoy an evening of good music in Chamblee’s downtown. Food and beverages will be available for purchase onsite.
- Jiki to Hanga: Japanese Porcelain and Prints: Tuesday at Oglethorpe University. This exhibition features 49 color woodcuts and more than 30 porcelain and earthenware objects. Twenty-eight woodcuts are by shin-hanga style master printmaker Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950).
- 10 Things Everyone Should Know about Planning a Funeral or Cremation Service: Tuesday. Kind of dark but practical. Can't say we've seen an Event on our site like this one. Check it out if you're in need of advice or help.
