- Skyland Church Friday Night Fire: Everyone is invited to join us for an evening of dynamic worship, musical praise and powerful testimonies at our Friday Night Fire Service on Friday, August 2 at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
- Semi-Pro Basketball Tryouts: The Atlanta Aliens will hold Regional Tryouts in Atlanta GA on Saturday, August 3, 2013. This event will challenge ABA & NBA D-League hopefuls, via full-court scrimmages and player evaluations, to showcase their skills for player personnel executives, coaches and scouts.
- Meehan's Public House August Music Schedule: Friday and Saturday. Kick back and cool off at Meehan’s Public House in August! This music lineup is sure to entertain…can you dig it?
- Lily of the Suburbs CD Release Show!: Saturday. Jessica Lily and her eclectic cohorts take the stage at Steve's to celebrate the release of 'Strange Glass House'. Performers include Elise Witt, Mick Kinney, Jerry Fields, Nick Edelstein, Gayanne Geurin, Goodnight Buffalo, Andy Liechty and more....
- The Breman Museum New Volunteer Opportunities Orientation: Friday. We are currently looking for Volunteer Museum Educators (docents) to lead group tours through two of our galleries: "Absence of Humanity, The Holocaust Years" and our "soon-to-be-installed-in-Fall-2013" Rich's Department Store Gallery.
