Whole Foods To Open In Chamblee In Mid-August
Whole Foods Market is set to open its ninth metro Atlanta store in Chamblee on Friday, August 18.
CHAMBLEE, GA -- The most popular grocery store to offer organic foods and natural products is coming soon to north DeKalb County. Whole Foods Market is set to open its ninth metro Atlanta store in Chamblee on Friday, August 18, the chain announced. The grocery store will be located at 5001 Peachtree Boulevard.
First-day shoppers at the 45,000 square-foot store will be in line for a big deal: The first 500 customers will receive free gifts cards ranging in amounts from $5 to $50 with one $500 card, the company said. There will also be several product demonstrations and samples to partake of at the grand opening.

“We’re excited to join Chamblee-Brookhaven’s growing community with the opening of our new Whole Foods Market,” Scott Sherman, the store’s team leader, said in a news release. “The new store will feature many locally sourced and seasonal products that meet our high quality standards. Whether you come for Revelator Coffee, locally grown produce or Nashville hot chicken, the store will be a new gathering place for the community.”
If that's not enough, Whole Foods is inviting the Chamblee-Brookhaven community to come out for a block party in front of the store on Saturday, August 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. Attendees will be treated to an array of artisan foods, live music, activities for kids, and vendors galore such as Revelator Coffee, NuGo, Doux South and Wellshire Farms.

Tickets for the block party are $10 per person with proceeds going to Hands on Atlanta.
