Wind Advisory in Effect

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for Metropolitan Atlanta until 6 p.m. tonight and warns drivers to take extra care on the slippery roads.

The service said the winds are expected to reach 35 mph or stronger. Winds this strong can make driving difficult especially for high profile vehicles like SUVs.

Today's forecast is a 30 percent chance of snow with a high of 33 degrees.
