You've Goat To Be Kidding: Farm Animals Invade Brookhaven
Nearly 40 goats somehow got out of their pen and rummaged through the streets of Brookhaven recently. They've all been caught -- thankfully.

BROOKHAVEN, GA -- Nearly 40 goats ran amok in the streets this week in Brookhaven when they somehow got out of their enclosure from the Drew Valley detention pond, the city said. At the pond, the goats eat weeds and underbrush, but they apparently wanted to have a run about town.
The episode came to an end when several Brookhaven residents mustered up the strength and courage to round up the beasts, according to city spokeswoman Burke Brennan. (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app.)

"Thanks to the help of several courageous and energetic Brookhaven residents, all 38 goats are in custody and have been returned to the fenced detention pond," Brennan said.
Brookhaven residents can breathe easy again ... but not too easy; but it's still a mystery as to how the goats escape their enclosure.
