Try an alternative gift market this 2019 Christmas season. This Decatur location will feature items from around the world.
DECATUR, GA — North Decatur Presbyterian Church is hosting an Alternative Gift Market Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 611 Medlock Rd in Decatur. Items will come from places like Africa, Latin America, Asia, South America and the Middle East. Local vendors will be on site too.
Vendors will sell fair trade, environmentally sustainable holiday gifts that create positive change for refugees or disenfranchised populations. Entrepreneurs will make available local products for shoppers. There will also be gift cards in honor of or in memory of loved ones.
Refreshments and a children’s craft corner will be made available. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted by most vendors.
