Avondale Estates Seeks Artists for Community Promotion Grants
Applications are due Jan. 31.

The Avondale Estates City Commission approved $15,000 for its 2014 Community Promotion Program.
The program's goal is to promote Avondale Estates through that bring people into the city.
In prior years, CPP has funded the AutumnFest, Art-B-Que, Georgia Safe Schools Coalition, Avondale Estates Sunday Ride, and the Rail Arts District (RAD) Studio Cruise.

Activities that are eligible for funding include:
- Projects/events that promote the city
- Projects that support arts organizations that promote the city
- Arts and cultural activities initiated by individual practicing professional artists who live and work in Avondale Estates.

- Tax-exempt, non-profit arts organizations
- Tax-exempt, non-profit organizations
- Practicing professional artists
- Non-profit individuals or groups who can demonstrate that the project or event will promote the city.
Applications for this year's funding are available on the city's website or at City Hall. Applications are due Jan. 31.
