BBQ Cafe Opens In Decatur; Brisket, Ribs And More
Three Mississippi natives and friends opened BBQ Cafe in downtown Decatur.
DECATUR, GA — A barbecue restaurant has opened in Decatur. The new eatery has replaced the former Doggy Dogg.
BBQ Cafe opened last month at 310 East Howard Ave. It was started by three longtime friends and Mississippi natives.
Lewis Johnson, John Peeples and Lloyd Solomon wrote on the restaurant’s website that the goal is “not to create an Atlanta-style barbecue; but rather, to give these simple, consistent recipes with deep Magnolia State roots a Peach State address.”
