
Loretta Jackson Brown has been named to the 12-person board of directors of the DeKalb Regional Health System Inc.
Brown, who is a certified nephrology nurse, a branch of nursing focused on the kidneys, has 27 years of nursing experience at the the clinical and leadership levels.
A retired Air Force lieutenant colonel and a doctoral nursing candidate at Georgia State University, Brown is currently a health communication specialist with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
She is a former regional vice president and board member of the American Nephrology Nurses’ Association.
