Decatur Man Killed In Shooting Outside Atlanta Bar

A Decatur man was shot and killed Tuesday night outside a bar on Edgewood Avenue in Midtown.

ATLANTA, GA -- A Decatur man is dead after an argument at a popular Midtown bar erupted into gunfire, police said. The shooting happened Tuesday night outside Mother Bar & Restaurant in the 400 block of Edgewood Avenue, Atlanta police told local media.

Authorities are still working to find out details in the deadly shooting, which occurred just after 11:30 p.m., WXIA-TV reports.

Atlanta police spokesman Officer Donald Hannah said the man was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Authorities have identified the victim as 25-year-old Alec Price. Police have no suspects and are actively looking for the gunman, who fled the scene after the attack.
