Decatur's Dish Dive To Close After Valentine's Day

Kirkwood restaurant Dish Dive is "headed for the hills," the restaurant said Wednesday, and will close its doors after Valentine's Day.

DECATUR, GA — Dish Dive, located at 2233 College Ave. NE, Atlanta, will close its doors permanently after about seven years in Decatur's Kirkwood neighborhood, the restaurant announced Wednesday.

Owned and operated by restaurateur Jeff Myers, Dish Dive — which opened in 2014 — is known for its small dining room and BYOB service. Among its dining room seating for just 25 people, guests had to text Myers for a reservation and he could rarely be reached by phone or online, according to What Now Atlanta.

"Dish Dive is heading for the hills," the restaurant posted on its Facebook page Wednesday. "Not much for long goodbyes — final service on Valentine's Day."
