The DeKalb County Board of Health is shifting COVID-19 testing and vaccinations to its mobile health units and health centers.
DEKALB COUNTY, GA — The DeKalb County Board of Health is set to close most of its COVID-19 vaccination and testing sites at the end of June to shift resources to mobile health units and health centers.
Beginning July 1, the county's primary testing site at Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church as well as the vaccination site at the former Sam's Club in Stonecrest will permanently close, the DeKalb BOH said in a Friday news release.
Instead, COVID-19 testing will move to the parking lot of the North DeKalb Health Center, located at 3807 Clairmont Road Northeast in Chamblee. Testing hours will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon.
