DeKalb 'Movies In The Park' Start Tuesday
The family-friendly movie series will continue at different DeKalb County parks every Tuesday through July.

DECATUR, GA — DeKalb County is offering some family-friendly, outdoor entertainment to help while away those summer evenings.
The county recreation department's Movies in the Park series starts Tuesday and continues every Tuesday evening through the rest of July. Activities will begin at dusk every Tuesday evening, with the outdoor movie to begin at 8:30 p.m.
Attendees at the free screenings are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and their own food for each showing. All feature films will be rated PG-13 or lower, so bring the kids, and in some cases pool hours will be extended for the events.

Here's the DeKalb Movies in the Park series schedule:
- July 17, Exchange Park Recreational Center (2771 Columbia Dr, Decatur). Marvel's "Ant-Man." The splash pad will remain open until 8 p.m.
- July 24, Mason Mill Park (1406-1458 McConnell Dr., Decatur). "Hotel Transylvania 2."
- July 31, Browns Mill Aquatic Facility (4929 Browns Mill Rd, Lithonia,). "A Wrinkle in Time." The aquatics facility will be free after 8 p.m. and remain open until the movie is over.
