DeKalb Sheriffs Hold Adopt-A-Family Program

The event was held Thursday for the children of incarcerated parents.

DECATUR, GA -- The DeKalb Sheriff’s Office held an Adopt-A-Family program on Thursday at the jail for kids of incarcerated parents. Some 14 children and their guardians were invited to attend and receive gifts purchased by employees of the sheriff’s office who held fundraising events and made personal donations.
