DeKalb Teen Found Shot To Death In Bedroom: Reports
A 17-year-old is in custody in connection with the shooting, a DeKalb County police spokeswoman said Tuesday.

UPDATE — A 17-year-old male suspect turned himself in to DeKalb County police Tuesday in connection with the shooting death of a 16-year-old girl Monday night, a DeKalb police spokeswoman said. The teen was found shot to death in her bedroom, according to media reports.
Police spokeswoman Shiera Campbell said the police were working with the DeKalb County district attorney's office to determine the charges to be filed against the 17-year-old.
DEKALB COUNTY, GA — The DeKalb County police are looking for a male suspect after a 16-year-old girl was found shot to death Monday night in her bedroom, according to media reports.

The girl, identified by police as Jewell Jefferson, was in the bedroom with someone she knew, WSB-TV Channel 2 reported.
The police said Tuesday they're obtaining a warrant for the male suspect, but no further details were available.
