A tree that fell across Ponce de Leon Avenue Saturday morning blocked traffic in both directions.
The tree fell about 6:30 a.m. near the west end of Deepdene Park, about a mile outside the Decatur city limits.
Westbound traffic on Ponce was diverted onto Lakeshore.
The tree knocked down a traffic signal. Crews worked to clean up the intersection through the morning.
A DeKalb police officer on the scene did not know when Ponce would reopen. No injuries were reported
