Georgia Weather Forecast: A Rainy Spring Week
In metro Atlanta, see when it's most likely to rain this work week, and when the sun might actually shine between now and the weekend.

ATLANTA, GA — Well, it's officially spring. And, in Georgia, we all know what that means, weather-wise. While it won't be raining all the time, there are some showers in the forecast every single day between now and the weekend.
From Monday through Wednesday, we're only looking at a 20 percent chance of rain each day, with nothing more than a drizzle expected some days. But that chance jumps up to 50 percent on Thursday and rockets all the way up to an 80 percent chance of rain Thursday night.
Friday, there will once again be a 50 percent chance of rain in metro Atlanta, dropping back down to 20 percent on Friday night.

As far as temperatures go, it's really going to start feeling like spring by the end of the week. For the next couple of days, we're still looking at highs in the 50s. But, on Thursday, the high is forecast to get all the way up to 75 degrees.

We're looking at a high of 75 again on Thursday and it should get up to 70 on Friday, before dropping back down to around 45 on Friday night.

Monday: A 20 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 50. East wind around 15 m.p.h., with gusts as high as 30 m.p.h. Monday night, a 20 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a low around 44. East wind 10-15 m.p.h., with gusts as high as 20 m.p.h.
Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of rain before 2 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 58. East wind around 10 m.p.h., with gusts as high as 20 m.p.h.Patchy drizzle with a slight chance of light rain. Tuesday night. Cloudy, with a low around 52. Southeast wind 5-10 m.p.h.
Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of light rain after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. Southwest wind 5 -10 m.p.h., with gusts as high as 20 m.p.h. Wednesday night, a slight chance of showers or light rain before 8 p.m., then a slight chance of showers after 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Thursday: A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. Occasional showers and possibly a thunderstorm Thursday night. Low around 59. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.
Friday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. Friday night, a 20 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 45.
